What I can afford to live? <What suggestions do you have to live more cheaply?
My boyfriend and I both work full time. I go to school, so … hoping to make more money in the future. I am finding it difficult to afford to go to school, pay my apartment, let alone food and gas. Any advice on how to live more efficiently. Its getting to that point where I can not pay for everything else. Also I have to get a new car before the winter, AWD, to get to work.
Do everything you can. It may not seem like much individually, but when added together, you start to notice a difference, especially if you keep it up? 1) Stop shopping! Seriously … my grandparents have told me many stories about "depression" not named for nothing … people were so surprised when economically could not afford to put food on the table and began to jump from bridges …. of truth. If you can live without it or get in some way with something you already own – do it. 2) Be conservative change light bulbs, put aerators on your faucets water ie 0.7 gallons per minute, wash large loads, hanging clothes to dry, set the thermostat and put on / take off clothes, ride a bike, walk, take a bus, reduce, reuse, buy a single ingredient foods rather than convenience foods and cooking in large batches, then store in freezer, 3) if possible to pay a premium for creditors 4) get the fun part-time jobs to earn extra money 5) to find other fun things to do instead of going out, like having sex! 6) paper bag Brown their lunches instead of buying 7) / fix to fix your clothes 
to find things for free on www.craigslist.org 9) clip coupons only if you have to buy the item! 10) cancel your cable service and do something else, walking, reading, watching sunsets, talking, playing a board game …. 11) get a loan to pay off their lines high-interest credit 12) sell some things you already have 13) trade your car for a cheaper more efficient (a lot of dealers will pay your current loan) allow me know if you need more ….. xxxreneexxx@yahoo.com
