Ford Econoline

I replaced the solenoid in my 1991 Ford Econoline Van and now my van wont start and there is no power.?

My van had power but it wouldn’t start so I had to touch metal to the solenoid to get it to start. I replaced the solenoid and now there is no power what so ever and when I touch metal to the solenoid it turns over but wont start.

You may have left a wire or two off the solenoid.
